These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Green6ix website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Green6ix

Green6ix provides on-demand trash valet and waste collection services for multi-family residential buildings in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.

Services are provided in coordination with property managers, building owners, condominium corporations, and authorized representatives. Service scope, pricing, and scheduling are governed by written service agreements or confirmed service details at the time of booking.

2. Use of Website

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems

  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to extract content

  • Upload or transmit harmful code or malware

  • Interfere with the website’s functionality or security

  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

Content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer. Green6ix may update or modify website content at any time without notice.

3. Service Eligibility

Green6ix services are available only to approved properties and authorized contacts such as property managers, building owners, or designated representatives.

Service availability, service windows, pricing, and scope are subject to confirmation and agreement.

4. Service Guidelines & Scope

Services generally involve door-to-door collection of properly prepared garbage, recycling, and organics and transport to the building’s designated disposal area.

Residents and property management are responsible for complying with building-specific guidelines, waste separation rules, and municipal requirements, including those established by the City of Toronto where applicable.

Green6ix reserves the right to refuse collection of materials that are:

  • Improperly prepared

  • Leaking or unsafe

  • Excessively heavy

  • Prohibited under municipal or building regulations

Refusal of unsafe or non-compliant materials does not constitute service failure.

5. Contamination & Municipal Compliance

Green6ix provides collection services but does not control the contents of sealed bags prepared by residents.

Residents and/or property management remain responsible for proper waste separation and diversion compliance.

Any contamination-related warnings, fines, increased tipping fees, or municipal penalties resulting from improper waste preparation remain the responsibility of the property owner, condominium corporation, or resident, as applicable.

Green6ix may document and report observed contamination concerns.

6. Fees and Payments

Service fees may include property-level service charges and/or resident-level collection fees depending on the service arrangement.

Where residents request services directly:

  • Each request constitutes a separate transaction.

  • Pricing is confirmed prior to payment.

  • No recurring billing occurs unless expressly agreed in writing.

Payments are processed through secure third-party providers. Green6ix does not store full credit card numbers.

Failure to remit required payments may result in service suspension or termination.

Green6ix reserves the right to provide service records and confirmations in the event of payment disputes or chargebacks.

7. Cancellations & Service Modifications

Service schedules, pickup windows, or scope may be modified with reasonable notice where operationally necessary.

Green6ix reserves the right to suspend or discontinue services due to safety concerns, non-compliance, non-payment, or operational constraints.

8. Force Majeure

Green6ix is not liable for delays, interruptions, or failure to perform services resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather

  • Elevator outages

  • Building access restrictions

  • Labor disruptions

  • Municipal service interruptions

  • Governmental actions

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Green6ix shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or services.

Green6ix is not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by improperly sealed or leaking waste

  • Pre-existing damage in building common areas

  • Municipal enforcement actions resulting from resident non-compliance

Where liability is established:

  • Liability relating to website use shall not exceed CAD $100; and

  • Liability relating to a specific service shall not exceed the amount paid for that service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Green6ix harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Misuse of the website

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Failure to comply with service guidelines

  • Improper waste preparation

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Green6ix and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, or used without written permission.

12. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites for convenience. Green6ix is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those websites.

13. Privacy

Use of this website and our services is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our website or services, you acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of information as outlined in that policy.

Green6ix collects and safeguards personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

Before commencing formal legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt informal resolution in good faith for a period of not less than thirty (30) days.

15. Changes to These Terms

Green6ix may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the website or services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
